Review and Analyses
As the world-known exhibition in metallurgy industry, Beijing Metallurgy Exposition of China, which plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the development of the industry and strengthening the exchange and cooperation of the international metallurgy industry, was already held 4 sessions with great success since year 2004.Amount of its participants and exhibition area increased by 20% every year from 2004 to 2006, while that of 2007 increased 35% vs.2006.It’s expected that there will be more than 600 participants in the 5th Beijing Metallurgy Exposition of China 2008 and there will be most high value-added products and advanced production equipments and cutting-edge technology present in this event.
Conform to the will of the vast numbers of vendors, the 5th Metallurgy Exposition of China will be held in the new China International Exhibition Center in Beijing from Sept.26-28,2008.It will be a major event in the international metallurgy industry of year 2008,which will add great power to the development of the new technology and science in metallurgy industry.

Expo Scope
★Metallurgy(Steel & Non-ferrous metals)
①Technology and equipments, processing of raw materials for metallurgy (ore、graphite、coke、carbon and other auxiliary materials),facilities for refining, continuous casting, gravity die casting, drawing, finishing, zincing, tinning and color coating; metallurgical furnaces & stoves; heat-treating facilities; auxiliary machines & equipments for founding、forging、welding and heat-treatment & vehicles special for metallurgy; equipment for shaping of steel, production of iron alloy, machines for metal process, metal fabrication, processing and fixing.
②Finished products, outputs and accessories, products of steel、non-ferrous metals and iron, metal-constructed products and other applied stuffs, products made of iron & steel, raw materials for metallurgy (ore、graphite、coke、carbon and other auxiliary materials),iron alloy products, anticorrosive coating/surfacing, chemical medicaments for metallurgy, lubricant for industry and various packing materials.
★Refractory materials: raw materials, processing equipments and technologies, refractory products.
★ Electrical, power-driven and metallurgical bearing equipments, electronic detecting and controlling system, data processing technology and instruments & meters used for metallurgy, hot processing, data processing & machining and fire resisting material production.

Technology Exchange
During the exhibition the Organizing Committee will arrange a series of symposiums for technical and commercial presentation and discussion. Enterprises and institutions may apply to host such symposiums with the theme decided by themselves. Applicant shall notify the Organizing Committee when they apply to join in the exhibition so that the Organizing Committee can arrange the site, publicize and invite professional audiences to join in. The fee for each symposium of two hours is ￥6,000 for domestic enterprises and $2,000 for foreign ones.
Fee Rate
1、 Standard Stand (9m2 3m×3m) : Provided with three exhibition boards of 2.5m high and the lintel produced according to the requirement of the exhibitors, one desk and two chairs for meeting and discussion, one 220v AC socket and two spotlights.
2、 Ground Area (Minimum order 36 sq. m2) : Provided with security service and public responsible insurance.
Fees for the whole period of the exhibition are listed below:

Note :

Publication
1、 In order to help the exhibitors to make publicity and to help the customers to communicate with the exhibitors after the exhibition the Organization Committee is going to make a publication with a size of 210 mm x 285 mm.

Publicity
1、To call the major public and professional media to make news releases. 2、 To publicize both at home and abroad through the customer network built up during the previous exhibitions.3、 To print 500,000 entrance tickets and 300,000 invitations and send to customers both ant home and abroad through the Organizing Committee.4、 To publicize through television, broadcasting, newspapers, professional magazines and websites. 5、 To publicize on the famous exhibitions of same kinds both at home and abroad.6、 To publicize through the organizations of foreign countries in China, including embassy, Chamber of Commerce, Associations and different kinds of trading organizations.
Audience
1、To invite the general managers, managing directors, purchasing managers, research and development personnel for new products, quality supervising personnel, sales executives and dealers from the enterprises related to metallurgical industry including the major iron and steel groups, enterprises of metal products, civil engineering companies, architectural companies, automobile manufacturers, aerospace industry, power and hydraulic engineering projects, railway projects etc. to visit the exhibition. 2、 Once every month the progress of the preparation of the exhibition shall be shown on television, broadcasting, newspapers, magazines and websites. 3、The Preview and Visiting Guide of the exhibition shall be sent together with the invitation.
Expo Procedures
1、To fill up the form of Application and Contract and put on the company seal and fax or mail to the Organizing Committee. 2、After the application has been confirmed by the Organizing Committee send 50% or all of the exhibition fee to the Organizing Committee by T/T within 10 days and fax the receipt to the Organizing Committee for check. 3、After receiving the exhibition fee the Organizing Committee will send the invoice and the Visiting Guide to the exhibitor. 4、The distribution of the stands shall follow the principle of “First applied and paid first arranged”. In order to keep the general profile of the exhibition the Organizing Committee has the right to change the stand of the exhibitors.
Services
1、To transact exhibit transportation and custom declaration, provide preferential accommodation and travel, and order plane and train ticket;2、To provide tickets to customers invited by the exhibitors for free and publish advertisement within 200 words for free in the conference proceedings;3、The exhibitors should apply one month in advance if they need water, power and compressed air for the exhibition on the spot.
